Technological innovations furthering freedom, independence of nations & individuals

It is the third consecutive year that we organize the conference, which this year will be dedicated to the importance of technological innovation for individuals, societies and nations.

The conference will be joined by a wide range of experts and representatives of the world of science and business, who have contributed with their knowledge, talent and hard work to technological innovations that have changed our world. The ethical use of new technologies can help people, societies and nations alike in gaining and sustaining freedom in the broadest sense.

AGENDA

The conference is heavily focused on TEDx-style speeches delivered by charismatic profiles with great knowledge in their field of expertise. Each speech will be around up to 30 minutes long.

  • 10:20am – 10:30am, Beata Daszyńska – Muzyczka, President of the Management Board of Polish State Development Bank, chairman of the supervisory board of the Three Seas Fund. Member of the Council of the President of the Republic of Poland for International Policy.

  • 10:30am– 10:40am, Paweł Jabłoński, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Polish Government’s Plenipotentiary for the Three Seas Initiative.

  • 10:40am – 11:10am, Beata Daszyńska – Muzyczka, President of the Management Board of Polish State Development Bank, chairman of the supervisory board of the Three Seas Fund. Member of the Council of the President of the Republic of Poland for International Policy.

Lecture topic: Carbon. Water. Hydrogen.

11:10am – 11:30am - COFFEE BREAK

  • 11:30am – 12:00pm,  Dr. Yuri Felshtinsky, historian, prominent author and journalist, co-author (together with Alexander Litvinenko) of “Blowing Up Russia”. An expert on Russia and the former Soviet Union.

Lecture topic: Technological Innovations and the Collapse of Soviet Communism and Post-Soviet Russian Imperialism in Europe: from Cold War to Russian-Ukrainian War.

  • 12:00pm – 12:30pm, Professor Colin W.P. Lewis, President of Mnemic AI and Research Scientist at AGISI (Artificial General Intelligence Sentinel Initiative). Holds 2 patents in AI applications and advises governments and businesses on AI implementations.

Lecture topic: AI: The Multi-Trillion Dollar Industry - Unveiling the 3 Seas Region Impact and Contribution.

  • 12:30pm – 1:00pm, Dr. Lars Frølund, Deep Tech Investment expert and executive. His expertise lies at the intersection of mission-driven innovation (incl. defence and security), grant & venture capital investments into deep tech ventures, and the geopolitical/strategic aspects of technological capacity building at the national and international level.

Lecture topic: Competing to win for Technological Sovereignty in Europe.

FIRESIDE CHAT

  • 2:00pm – 3:00pm, Steve Wozniak, the legendary technology entrepreneur and the engineer behind Apple's personal computers, including the Apple II model, which played a groundbreaking role in the development of the personal computer industry. The co-founder of Apple, which launched the personal computer revolution, and which has since became one of the most influential companies in history.

LECTURES

  • 3:10pm – 3:25pm, Dr. hab. Kacper Gradoń, Ph.D., D.Sc. is an Associate Professor in Cybersecurity (Warsaw University of Technology), Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL Department of Security and Crime Science (University College London) and Visiting Fulbright Professor at University of Colorado Boulder.

Lecture topic: What's Behind the Corner? Future Threats, Trust & Truth Decay and How to Deal with Them.

  •  3:25pm – 3:50pm, Professor Anna Maria Wierzbicka, Professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology. Architect. Head of research teams. Expert in the field of architecture and urban planning.

Lecture topic: What is a house that is a HOME? - Ways to combat homelessness through the use of prefabricated wooden houses, on the example of an internal refugee settlement in Lviv, Ukraine.

3:50pm – 4:10pm - COFFEE BREAK

  • 4:10pm – 4:25pm, Zuzanna Podgórska, Business Development Director at ACTE Sp. z o. o., radon expert at Radonova Laboratories (world leader in measuring radon concentrations in the air). Member of the European Radon Association.

Lecture topic: Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more”- the art of science communication as a bridge between innovations and the society.

  • 4:25pm – 5:00pm, Grzegorz Zwoliński, CEO Entrepreneur Founder at SatRevolution.

Lecture topic: Future in Space.

  • 5:00pm – 5:15pm, Professor Agnieszka Jastrzębska, PhD, DSc, Eng. Nanotechnologist, CEO and founder of ADJ Nanotechnology spin-off company, professor at Warsaw University of Technology.

Lecture topic: Next-generation leadership will accelerate innovation through meaning.

  • 5:15pm – 5:45pm, Dr. Marek Dietl, CEO of GPW (Warsaw Stock Exchange) and the economic adviser to the President of Poland.

Lecture topic: Tech developments in Global Capital Markets.
